Google paid tribute to those on the front lines of Saturday’s fight against COVID-19. In the front of page of Google, you will see the different thing. It is a series of doodles from the past 10 days.
Starting on April 6, Google Doodles appeared daily on the home page of the search engine. It expressed as the appreciation to public health professionals and researchers in the scientific community.
It included physicians, nurses and ambulance staff, emergency personnel, custodial and environmental employees. And also, it gave the appreciation to the other fields.
For instance, agricultural workers and fishermen, supermarket employees, public transit staff, packing, shipping and distribution employees. In addition, there are food service workers, teachers and child care workers, among others.
Google Doodle on Saturday is a collage of all the previous ones in which each career is depicted in a reworked Google icon ‘o’. Then, it also surrounded by pink hearts.
According to Johns Hopkins University, more than 1,54,000 people have died. Meanwhile, 22,40,000 people have been infected with the novel coronavirus which comes from China in December last year.
As COVID-19 continues to affect communities around the world, people are now more than ever coming together to support one another. We are launching a Doodle series to highlight and celebrate all of those on the front lines. By doing so, hopefully all the people can cheer up each others.
