People are happy about the launch of the latest gaming console. Sony has finally announced the price and launch date of its newest generation game console, the PlayStation 5 (PS5). How much is the price and what are the PS5 specifications?
PS5 presents 2 models
PS 5 will come in two models, namely the Standard Edition and the Digital Edition.
Interestingly, the PS5 Standard Edition, which is equipped with a physical Blu-ray disc drive slot, is priced at $499. Which is exactly the same as the price of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X.
Meanwhile, PS5 Digital Edition, which does not have a disc drawer and can only play digital versions of games, is sold at a lower price, namely $399. This price is still higher than the Xbox Series S, which is priced at $299.
Will be sold in the market: November 12th
Both PS5 models will be on the market on November 12th in the United States, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea. Only two days after the launch of the Xbox Series X and Series S.
Exactly a week later, on November 19th, the game console will be launched simultaneously throughout the world. Sony did not spit out the pre-order date for its latest game console at the event.
However,on Twitter, the Japanese company revealed that enthusiasts can order the PS5 starting tomorrow, or September 17th US time, at Sony partner “select retail stores”.
