PT. Karya Anak Bangsa (Gojek) Application and PT Tokopedia officially merged. The two unicorns gave their company names to GoTo.

Andre Soelistyo from Gojek will lead GoTo as Group CEO, with Patrick Cao from Tokopedia as President of GoTo.
Meanwhile, Kevin Aluwi will remain as CEO of Gojek and William Tanuwijaya will remain as CEO of Tokopedia.
GoTo CEO Andre Soelistyo said the formation of the GoTo Group marked the next phase of growth for Gojek, Tokopedia and GoTo Financial.
Gojek driver partners will have greater income opportunities. Among other things, by sending more orders from Tokopedia users, while sellers and merchant partners of various business scales will get various benefits and opportunities to increase their business.
“The presence of the GoTo Group will also enable us to further encourage financial inclusion in Indonesia and Southeast Asia,” said Andre, Monday (17/5/2021).
Gojek and Tokopedia officially announced the formation of the GoTo Group, which is the largest technology group in Indonesia that provides various solutions for carrying out daily activities.
The formation of the GoTo Group is claimed to be the largest business collaboration in Indonesia, as well as the largest collaboration between two internet and media service companies in Asia to date.
Apart from his responsibilities at the group level, Andre will also continue to lead the payments and financial services business called GoTo Financial. GoTo Financial includes GoPay services as well as financial services and business solutions for business partners.
