Oppo is issued for launching waterproof smartphones. While Oppo A72 and Oppo A52 made their first appearance in China two months ago, Oppo A92 and A72 will soon be available in your nearby phone stores, along with Oppo A72 and A52.
Though all these phones are launched by Oppo, in the same year, with only a subtle gap between them. There is an immense difference between specifications, prices, and features of these devices.
Speaking of the processor, which is the biggest similarity between these devices. Oppo A92, Oppo A72, Oppo A52, and A12 are all powered by the processor Octa-core (4 GHz Kryo 260 Gold).
Yet the most gripping suspense remains which is coming as waterproof as one of the Oppo devices is. Let’s look at the specification and features, and reveal what waterproof Oppo device is.
Oppo A92, Oppo A72, Oppo A52, and Oppo 12: Specifications and Features
The Oppo A12 comes with the smallest 6.22-inch display, while Oppo A72 and A52 provide a 6.57-inch display. Oppo A92 settles in the middle with 6.50 inches of the display screen. All of these devices support IPS LCD.
A backlight is used by the In-Plane switching LCD screens to generate light for all pixels and each pixel shutter can be switched off to alter the brightness.
Oppo A72 and A52 return a 403 PPI pixel density. While A12 shows the lowest 277 PPI pixel density and 405 PPI highest A92. The A52 and A72 share 4-GB Ram 64-GB capacity, with 8-GB Ram and 128-GB capacity combinations. Oppo A92 doesn’t vary, and the phone comes with 8 GB of Ram and 64 GB of storage.
A12 comes with two 3GB—32 GB variants and 4GB—64 GB variations. A92, A72, and A52 support the following sensors, fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, compass. On the other side, the Oppo A12 comes with a fingerprint sensor built-in rear.
In addition, the first three devices include Android 10.0 + ColorOS 7.0, the latter one settles with Android 9.1 + ColorOS 6.1. Forward to the rear camera, A92 and A72 feature an impressive 48MP (wide lens) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (wide lens) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (wide lens) sensor.
The Oppo A12 latter comes with 13 MP (wide lens) + 2 MP (ultra-wide). Overall, the company’s original bet is on both A92 and A72. Both phones can easily outnumber first-day sales of the Oppo A52 and A12.
Which Oppo Device is Waterproof?
All these Oppo devices are relatively announced in some parts that are waterproof smartphones. You’ll soon also find those phones in your city’s smartphone store.
Even after months of the launch, however, Oppo has not disclosed which of the devices is water-proof. Only one thing that tells us: None of these devices are waterproof phones.
