Huawei Philippines has announced its most strong-and impressive-smartphone off-contract price to date, namely Huawei P40 Pro Plus.
Huawei P40 Pro Plus locally suggested retail price. It comes in a ceramic-white finish and costs P69,990 (around $1,400) in the country, without a carrier contract.
The first 100 customers who buy the phone through Lazada before July 10 will receive a pair of smart Gentle Monster glasses with speakers on both inner sides. And also, a free Huawei Band 4 fitness app. The freebie bundle amounts to P22,880 ($458) in total.
Huawei P40 as the Most Premium Model
The most premium model in the P40 series, the Huawei P40 Pro Plus, is the first phone from the brand with a Penta-camera setup.
It offers up to 100x zoom. With a maximum focal range of up to the equivalent of a 240mm camera lens, the camera will work well. In addition, it basically covers all your zoom needs. And apparently, that luxury comes at a high cost.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra also sells at the same price in local shops. You also can choose the Huawei P40 Pro Plus in a heartbeat between the two as consideration. It is mainly due to its superior camera system and pleasing scale.
And the new Huawei flagship, unlike the Samsung S20 Ultra and most other phones, has a ceramic body attached to a steel frame, making it feel sleek and reassuringly heavy in the side. Ceramic makes cracks and dings more durable than the glass found on most modern smartphones.
In addition, a Kirin 990 5G chipset is operated by the handset, which incorporates Huawei’s Balong 5 G modem to provide super-fast data speeds in areas where 5G base stations are mounted. Globe Telecom previously announced that its 5G network will go live in select locations in Makati and Taguig in July, although we could get a 5G signal as early as March at the Bonifacio Global City.
