In addition to wanting to sell Tesla to Apple, Elon Musk has also revealed that the electric car manufacturer is almost bankrupt. This incident occurred in the last few years.
This disclosure was conveyed by Elon Musk on his personal Twitter account in response to a question from a follower who asked ‘how close is Tesla to bankruptcy when it will mass produce Model 3.’
“We were close to bankruptcy in a matter of a month. Development of Model 3 caused extreme stress and pain for a long time – from mid-2017 to mid-2019. Production and logistics hell,” says Elon Musk.
The Tesla Model 3 is an electric sedan produced by Tesla. This model was first produced in July 2017 in limited numbers. These cars are sold at prices starting at US $ 31,000 per unit.
Elon Musk has often spoken of ‘production and logistics hell’ to express his difficulties in mass-producing electric cars, but he never spoke about Tesla’s carriage.
But now Tesla’s condition is quite stable. In the third quarter of fiscal 2020, Tesla reported its fifth consecutive net profit thanks to growing demand for electric cars.
