Recent pollution issues in South Korea and other Asian countries got R-Pur put its eyes on the Asian market. South Korea has long been struggling with fine dust from China. And R-Pur got the perfect solution for it.
Healthy yet stylish R-Pur Nano Mask
The French startup makes the world’s first patented anti-pollution mask. R-Pur Nano Mask, as it says, can filter out toxic particles, viruses, bacteria and other fine particles found in polluted air.
The mask has three parts, one of which is a replaceable filter. The company claimed that the filter can filter out particles up to 0.05 micrometers. The mask will certainly be effective for people living in highly polluted area such as Seoul, Hongkong and Delhi.
Next is the reusable fabric mask part. This part also has an extraction valve at the front to let hot air out fast. A perfect technology for those who like to exercise outside.
R-pur also attached an app on the mask. The app is for customers to check on when they should change the filter. Based on the air condition of users current location, the app decides the filter use between 5 to 12 weeks.
Not just amazing technologies, the Nano Mask comes out in a stylish fashion. Making it look trendy not just healthy. It is also compatible to combine with any helmet for motorcycle and bicycle riders.
Founded at 2016, the company has sold 10,000 of the mask. And 70% of the total sales are from France. But Flavien Hello, R-Pur CEO and Co-founder said that its’ online marketing campaign receives a positive respond in Thailand and South Korea.
The positive respond reinforced R-Pur decision to enter Asia. Although the company is yet to receive investment from the region. The company plans on opening a Hong Kong based office to deal with the production and marketing. It plans on starting its first sales on China, Hongkong, South Korea and Japan.
