In addition, one of the WhatsApp leaking sites, WaBetaInfo, revealed that the Facebook-owned chat application is testing a new feature of deleting automatic messages in 24 hours. This feature comes after WhatsApp tested the photo delete feature on the platform.
If WhatsApp activate this feature, all messages will be deleted automatically after 24 hours. It is not yet known when this feature will be presented to users, as reported by Gizchina, Monday (7/3/2021).
Last year, WhatsApp launched a disappearing messages feature after seven days. This feature can be activated in individual conversations or group WhatsApp.
The Auto Delete Photos feature on WhatsApp Android and iPhone
WaBetaInfo also leaked about the automatically delete photos or images feature on WhatsApp. With this feature, users will be able to set the time when the photos sent will disappear in the conversation.
This concept is said to be similar to the concept of Instagram Direct. Automatically deleted photos will not be able to be exported from WhatsApp.
