Tesla boss, Elon Musk said he would build an electric car factory in Russia. He said that there were many Tesla supporters in the country.
“I think I will bring Tesla in Russia or more broadly to neighboring countries such as Kazakhstan or other regions,” he said as quoted by CNN, Friday (21/5/2021).
He revealed that previously Tesla had factories in California, Nevada and Shanghai. There are already factories under construction in Germany and Texas. Tesla could also potentially open a factory in Russia.
“As time goes on we will look for suitable sites for factories in other regions, there is potential in Russia at a number of points,” he said.
In addition to explaining about the factory, Elon Musk also explained about technology in the future. He even said he would build a base on the moon and a city on Mars.
According to him, within 50 years there will be many changes such as technology, artificial intelligence, space travel, computer interfaces, synthetic RNA and DNA.
Previously, Tesla and SpaceX also discussed space travel. It takes a tool that can reach 10% -20% of the speed of light.
“Before we go beyond the solar system, we must be able to go to the moon and build an independent base there. This is an important step,” he said.
