This decacorn status of Grab is contained in Google-Temasek’s e-Conomy 2018 published on November 19th, 2018. This is a remarkable achievement for Anthony Tan.

Because of his enthusiasm and perseverance, Anthony succeeded in bringing Grab toto achive its succeed. Anthony independently started his business from zero even though he was born to a successful business family. From this Malaysian man, we surely can learn about its principles in running and developing a business to reach the peak of success.

Here are some important lessons that you can learn from Anthony Tan:

1. Persistent and never give up

Anthony cannot escape the image filled with perseverance.  Anthony directly jumped into the field to meet the driver directly. He approached a number of public places that they usually used as bases.

The aim to go directly to the field is to be able to understand the obstacles or problems that often arise. Anthony will evaluate all obstacles that are usually encountered so that his business can develop. In addition, he also sat as an admin in the company he built. 5. Always Learn and Fix Errors

Errors found in various businesses that are carried out. However, some business may have a lot of errors or even go bankrupt.

The same thing was experienced by Anthony, especially during the birth of Grab. However, being a leader who is open to input and wants to learn from previous mistakes is the key in overcoming the problem.

Anthony makes every problem as a lesson, not an obstacle. He always learns new things, learns from previous mistakes which make him to be able to make a successful business.
