Approaching the launch next month, rumors surrounding the iPhone 13 are getting louder and louder. The latest rumored iPhone 13 will be sold starting at US$ 699.
It is reported that the selling price of the iPhone 13 will not be different from the price of the iPhone 12 when it debuted last year.
The news comes from the Trendforce report which provides leaked prices for all the upcoming iPhone 13 variants. Apple is said to be releasing four new iPhone models, namely the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The Price of iPhone 13
- iPhone 13 Mini: US$699, US$749 (128GB), US$849 (256GB).
- iPhone 13: $799 (64GB), US$849 (128GB), US$949 or Rp. 13.6 million (256GB).
- iPhone 13 Pro: US$999 or Rp14.3 million (128GB), US$1099 or Rp15.8 million (256GB), US$1299 or Rp18.7 million (512GB).
- iPhone 13 Pro Max: US$1099 or Rp. 15.8 million (128GB), $1199 or Rp. 17.2 million (256GB), $1399 or Rp. 20.1 million (512GB).
For the record, Apple’s decision is still surprising, not because of the hardware upgrades it made but because of the production issues the company acknowledged recently.
Limited supply gives a lot of influence that can lead to an increase in the price of components that are passed on to consumers. But Apple made many major supply changes and remained standing firm.
But the report is different from the leaks revealed by Wedbush Analyst Daniel Ives. He said that Apple will bring 1 TB of storage on the iPhone Pro.
Meanwhile, Ives also mentioned that Apple might delay the launch of the iPhone 13 again, as did the previous iPhone 12. But this time it will be pushed back one week to the third week in September.
If true, then the tradition of the iPhone launched in September will return again. Because last year, Apple had to delay the release of the iPhone 12 for a month due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
