A 12 year old boy from London has managed to earn around £290,000 during the school holidays.
This amount of money he made after creating a series of pixelated artwork called Weird Whales and selling them as non-exchangeable tokens (NFT).
For information, with NFT artwork can be used as a token. The function is to create digital ownership certificates that can be bought and sold.
Selling NFT with Crypto
Launching from the BBC, Friday (27/8/2021), it is known that Benjamin Ahmed sells the NFT with crypto currency and stores his income in Ethereum.
This makes the financial assets owned by Benjamin from the sale proceeds can change according to the price of Ethereum.
NFT Weird Whales that Benjamin sold recently was not the first digital token he created. Previously he had also sold a number of his Minecraft-inspired NFT tokens, but unfortunately the tokens did not sell well.
It doesn’t stop there, currently Benjamin is reportedly working on his third NFT collection project with a superhero theme. In addition, at this time he also wants to make an NFT themed “underwater games” which will also feature images of whales.
