You may be very excited to find new jobs for a better life.
When you are committed, do it for yourself, for your family, as well as long-term satisfaction. Because the job search process can turn out to be so tiring and boring that it makes you no longer excited.
Reporting from forbes.com, here is what you can do during the process of finding new jobs:
Take a break and clarify your goals
Take a moment to stop sending resumes or attend networking events to distribute business cards. Instead, dive back into your real goals and decide what you really want. If you are really stuck, start by doing a little research on the description of various jobs, and start looking for at least 10 roles and target positions that you want. While searching, try to determine your goals as detailed as possible, but avoid labels such as directors or deputy directors because these labels are different in each company. You can find a software engineer, project
manager, or logistics coordinator.
Learn the process of finding a job
It is undeniable that the process of looking for work keeps changing, and you may be outdated. Young professionals or senior executives must know the modern way of looking for work, including various networking techniques and candidate search resources by job seekers, in order to be successful. Consider taking a job search course. Remember, you are not born with the ability to find work, the ability to find work is not intuitive or natural. Start looking for a personal learning style and invest your time in the process of finding a job. For example by reading articles or watching videos.
Responsible
Don’t be frustrated. Begin to feel the need and really responsible for finding a job. Start targeting every little detail in the job search process such as time to complete a new resume, or a new cover letter, even time to update your LinkedIn profile. Wake up every morning with clear steps to be achieved.
