Samsung Electronics ranks within the top ten of best place to work in six countries. The rank is a result of an employee brand research in 2019 by Randstad.
Randstad is a global HR consulting firm headquartered in the Netherlands. It has offices in 38 countries around the world. And it conducts surveys on salary levels, benefits, safety and career management for local workers in major countries.
Each year, it announces the top ten companies of 32 countries it conducted the research in. In this year’s survey, Samsung Electronics has maintained the top position in Poland and Brazil. Previously last year, the South Korean company also top the survey in both countries.
In Poland, Samsung Electronics operates a home appliance factory. Meanwhile in Brazil it operates a mobile phone production line. Apart from the two countries, there are other countries where the company didn’t make it at the top last year.
Rising up to the top of best place to work
Ukraine, for example. Samsung now leads the best place to work in the country, competing with some big companies. Including software company Softserve, as well as global giants such as Adidas and Coca-Cola.
In Hungary, it went up one stairs to the 5th place after last year’s 6th. And in Southeast Asia, exactly Malaysia, it did not enter the top 10 last year but now it is at the 5th place.
Meanwhile at its’ home country, people are waiting for the news of Galaxy Fold release. After recalling the brand just a week prior to its official release due to several problems, the company is yet to give the exact relaunch date.
However the company has stated that it “might” be launching the Galaxy Fold around July 2019. “Galaxy fold display has been completed and waiting for mass production,” stated Roh Tae-moon, the president of Samsung Wireless Divison.
