NaverBusiness Platform announced a new agreement. The agreement involves Deskera, a software maker based in Singapore. Naver Business Platform (NBP) is a subsidiary of South Korean giant tech, Naver Corporation.
Deskera provides Integrated Business Applications as a Service or BAaaS. It mainly works on cloud service. And it has the biggest portion of the market share in Singapore and Malaysia. Roughly, the company has around 20,000 corporate clients using their services.
With this agreement, both will drive adoption of cloud service. Mainly, it would be for small- and medium- sized enterprises (SMEs) across Southeast Asia.
Deskera and NBP: helping SMEs while strengthening presence
NBP will provide the Cloud Service Platform for Deskera to incorporate. Then SMEs can host their data through the Cloud Service Platform securely. Therefore, the program will help SMEs to enhance their business. And NBP is expecting a remarkable result together in the global cloud market.
“The collaboration with Deskera is a successful example of NBP’s efforts to become a global company. We are fully committed to developing new services and expanding our services in Southeast Asia.” – Lim Tae-Gon, Managing Director of NBP.
Naver is South-Korean biggest tech corporation. The company has the biggest market share of search engine in the country. It is also the home of world-wide apps such as Line, Webtoon, and VLive.
Cloud Service Platform is a new thing for the company, though. It has only recently released the platform. The platform provides computing infrastructure, solutions and eco-friendly cloud servers.
With this partnership, NBP is not only able to help SMEs. It will also strengthen its presence in the region. And it is the first step the subsidiary has ever taken at the region.
“We believe by leveraging Deskera’s cloud-based suite of software solutions coupled with NBP, SMEs will be further empowered in today’s digital economy.” – Paritosh Mahana, Head of Cloud Infrastructure, Deskera.
