Hanwha Group global power in Indonesia and Australia

Hanwha’s global mining business is especially prominent in Australia and Indonesia. LDE, a company acquired by Hanwha Australia Inc. in 2015, had only $23 million in annual sales at the time of the acquisition, but its growth is steep, rising 128 percent to $52 million the following year. Its sales are  to reach up to $90 million won this year.

The growth is also striking in Indonesia. It opened an Indonesian corporation in 2013. And has since been actively carrying out mining service projects since 2014. When it was equipped with local production facilities with an annual capacity of 23,000 tons.

Hanhwa has been shipping non-electric brain tubes to Indonesia’s state-run gunpowder company Dahana since 2012. Starting from early this year, it is currently constructing ‘original plant’ in Indonesia to produce and supply products in a stable manner. The original is a major component of the detonating gunpowder. And the tube is completed by installing ignition on the original.
