Various media reported that Samsung Electronics will soon release the Galaxy S10 Light, a derivative of the Galaxy S10 series.
According to the media such as TechRadar on Sunday, Samsung Electronics will likely release a new smartphone at the end of this year or early next year.
It seems that Samsung Electronics is planning to release this product earlier than Galaxy S11. The later reportedly set to launch in February of next year. It will fill gaps in the new Smartphone launch between the end of this year to early next year.
Galaxy S10 Light will join the four other versions of the S10 series.
Those series are Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10 Plus, and S10 5G. Although this new version of the product has a lower price than Galaxy S10e in the line-up, many predicted that it will be a model with premium performance even at lower prices.
Reportedly the new smartphone will be available with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor. It will also have a 6.7-inch display while supports 45W high-speed charging of batteries larger than 4,000mAh.
Many also predicted that the phone will have a triple camera. The triple camera consists of a 48-megapixel main camera at the rear, a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Plus a 32 million-pixel selfie at the front.
Despite having the lower pixelate, Galaxy S10 Light will have more cameras than the previous models. As the previous models only equipped by the dual camera, not the triple camera.
Accordingly, Samsung Electronics made the Galaxy S10 Light by mixing the designs of the Galaxy S10 Plus and the S9 Plus. They predicted that Samsung Electronics submitted a patent for the light design to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Unlike Galaxy S11, which is likely to have 5G mobile communication technology, Galaxy S10 Light most likely will be available within 4G only.
