Elon Musk just unveiled his new Tesla Cybertruck last week. The Blade Runner-inspired pick up truck receives 200k orders already, Elon says.
Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk disclosed that the futuristic electric vehicle comes in four types, which are S, 3, X, and Y. While the CEO shows statistics of orders for the first three models, no information pertinent to model Y’s orders exists.
Accordingly, Tesla puts many efforts into the design of the truck. The sturdy design consists of an ‘exoskeleton’ exterior shell, armor glass, auto pilot, and so forth.
While many people praise Elon’s newest invention, there are also numerous people and medias who criticize the product. Arguments revolve around the design of the truck, which is eccentric.
That, however, is not the biggest issue. During the presentation, Cybertruck’s armor glass failed to withstand a damage test, resulting in pierces. Many people are commenting that this arguably is a poor presentation from Tesla. Elon, in contrast, responded to it in a humorous statement.
“We threw wrenches, we threw everything even literally the kitchen sink at the glass and it didn’t break. For some weird reason, it broke now. I don’t know why. We will fix it in post.”

Elon Musk Tesla Cybertruck and its Future Competitors
Tesla and Elon Musk are not the only party to develop an electric pick up truck like Cybertruck. Several big auto manufacturers will be its tight competitors in approximately 2021.
First of all, Cybertruck has to compete against Rivian R1T. The comparably far cheaper truck is actually the investment projects of Amazon and Ford.
The second challenger is Bollinger B2, which comes in a brick-shaped model. The six-figure-priced electric pick up truck delivers features that people might not imagine to have in a pick up truck.
Ford also joins the fray by introducing its Ford F-150. While the company shows that the truck is capable of towing a train of rail cars, Tesla’s presentation shows that Cybertruck is capable of towing Ford F-150.
