After months of preparations, Kakao Klaytn finally held its first Klayton Governance Council Summit. At the event successfully held in the 28th, the GroundX project introduces Klaytn Klip, as reported by Blockmedia.
Klyatn Klip is a wallet service that stores Klaytn-based digital assets. It allows Kakao Talk friends to send and receive cryptocurrency from the Kakao Talk app.
Now Klip is on the phase of dogfooding before its launch in early next year. At this phase, the company launch its service internally to get direct feedback from the users.
Klaytn Klip will be available as a new feature in the “view more” tab in Kakao Talk. After opening the new features, users only need to input their password to do any cryptocurrency transaction. And for the security, GroundX cited high levels of security, user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) and fast speed.

SK Networks Co., GS Home Shopping Co. and Hanwha Systems Co. have joined Clayton Governance Counsel, which co-runs Clayton by Kakao’s blockchain affiliate Ground X, the company said Friday.
Clayton Governance Counsel is responsible for key decision-making and consensus node operations on Clayton’s technology, business and so on.
The Governance Council consists of 27 global companies representing each industry, including IT, finance and gaming. The newly added SK Networks, GS Home Shopping and Hanwha Systems will also focus on the stable operation of Clayton and revitalizing the blockchain industry.
Previously, big companies such as AhnLab and Binance has also joined Klaytn Governance Council.
