Gojek and Its Users in Singapore
Speaking of its users in Singapore, Gojek says that the Singaporeans are so far the most vocal customers. Gojek’s co-CEO Andre Soelistyo said so and compare them to the other countries’ users even Indonesians.
However, Soelistyo argued that it is a good thing since it proves that Singaporeans recognizes Gojek. In addition, the reaction also lets the company knows that Singaporeans have a high standard.
“When we decided to launch in Singapore, it was (to investigate) whether our product quality can stand the test for a more developed country,” he explained. “If our products and features don’t stand the test of customer needs (in Singapore), then when we want to be a global company, there is always that standard that we have to reach.”
The co-CEO made the statement when the company was celebrating its one year anniversary in Singapore. Apart from talking about the Singapore’s standards, Soelistyo also appreciated the company’s achievement within a year.
“We have completed 30 million trips here since we launched exactly one year ago, a significant milestone that would not have been possible without the support of our driver-partners, customers, and everyone in the Gojek Singapore team,” he added.
