There were predictions that Apple will release 5G iPhone, the iPhone 12 in the first half of this year at a time. Apple had launched the iPhone 11 series with 4G. When its competitors released 5G smartphones one after another last year.
According to many media including Forbes, Apple is planning to release 5G ‘iPhone 12’ and ‘iPhone 12 Pro’ that support both frequencies below 6GHz faster than 4G LTE and millimeter waves that utilize high-speed near-range networks.
Reportedly Apple will launch these iPhone 12 lineups in five markets — the United States, Canada, South Korea, Japan, and Britain. In countries where 5G services are not available yet, the company will not utilize a 5G feature on the iPhone 12 lineup.
Besides supporting 5G, iPhone 12 also has better performance and looks compared to its previous model.
The premium model iPhone 12 5G is to be 158×77.8×8.1mm in size. It is slightly larger than the iPhone 11 Pro Max’s 159x78x7.1mm in thickness.
The notch design reportedly remains the same. On the other hand, it is assumed that the side of the iPhone is changed to a straight line rather than a conventional curve.
The processors will be available with Apple’s next chipset A14 Bionics, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. It also provides reverse wireless charging support to prevent battery discharge due to 5G. And a more enhanced Face ID system will be available.
To prevent hand tremors, camera lenses are available with sensor-shift stabilization technology. It secures and moves image sensors from inside. Until now, the iPhone has had an optical hand-shake correction technology that moved the lens.
The iPhone 12 and 12 pros, which are general models, will reportedly have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. Other than this, it will be available with an internal chipset that is similar to a pro.
Apart from the iPhone 12 series, many also expect Apple’s upcoming middle range phone, iPhone SE.
