Xiaomi is going to compete against Samsung Electronics for its flagship smartphone. Reportedly, Samsung will introduce Galaxy Unpack on the 11th of next month and Xiaomi announced the launch of Mi10 on the same day.
Previously, Samsung Xiaomi launched new products on the same day. The Chinese manufacturer launched Mi9 on the same day when Samsung released the Galaxy S10 last year.
Reportedly, Xiaomi uploaded a poster announcing the Mi10 launch on it social media. The poster says the Mi10 launch is at the 11th of February. In addition, it also include the design of the product and some specifications.
All of its products that were released last year are similar to ‘Mix Alpha’ that is displayed. It is available with a quad camera that placed in a flat position and includes a 108 million pixel lens.
It possibly will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 for the AP and will support 5G (5th generation mobile telecommunication).
On the 11th of next month, Samsung is also planning to release the Galaxy S20 series and the new foldable phone Galaxy Z flip (tentative name). However, the Mi10 launch will be earlier due to the time difference of the event area.
Analysts: Xiaomi is trying to jump on the bandwagon of attention on Samsung Electronics on the same day
Samsung is making various breakthrough with it’s upcoming launches. First of all from the change of its flagship smartphone series name. Instead of naming it Galaxy S11 after the S10, Samsung named the next series Galaxy S20.
It is also making a cheaper breakthrough for the next foldable smartphone line.
For the first time in the series, the Galaxy S20 will support a 120Hz death rate, with a 108 megapixel camera and a 5,000 mAh high-capacity battery. Unlike the previous Galaxy Fold, the Galaxy Z flip can open and fold the screen up and down, and the screen wrinkles are expected to improve.
