Pre-orders of the Galaxy S20, the 11th model of the Galaxy S series, will run from February 20th to 26th. The official release date is March 6.
Reservations are available at Samsung Electronics’ homepages, including digital printers nationwide and offline stores of each mobile carrier. Pre-order customers can receive the product before its official launch on March 6.
The Galaxy S20 comes in three models that differ in screen size and camera size. The largest-ever image sensor, combined with artificial intelligence, can be expected to take clear photos with details in a low-level environment. And it has the highest-ever specifications such as 5G network, 120Hz screen injection rate and LPDDR5 high-capacity memory.
Specs and differences of the Galaxy S20 Series
The top-of-the-line “Galaxy S20 Ultra” will be able to take 10-fold zoom shots with foldable lenses. And support a “space zoom” of up to 100 times.
The Galaxy S20, the regular model, will come in Cosmic Gray, Cloud Blue, Cloud White and Cloud Pink in 128GB storage. The price is $1,250.
The Galaxy S20 Plus and the Galaxy S20 Ultra will come in 256GB storage models. While Galaxy S20 Plus is available at $1,353 for Cosmic Gray, Cloud Blue, Cloud White, Aura Blue and Aura Red in five colors. The Galaxy S20 Ultra comes in two colors, Cosmic Gray and Cosmic Black, at $1,595.
Samsung Electronics will offer AI home speaker “Galaxy Home Mini” or a small memo printer that allows users to print out notes from their smartphones without ink or toner in their daily lives.
The Galaxy Home Mini will feature smart home control as well as play music and provide information with AKG’s high-quality speakers. With IR (infrared) remote control function, regular home appliances can be controlled like smart home appliances with IR sensors. In addition, it provides insurance services that support 50% of the cost of replacing display breakdowns once a year.
Meanwhile, Samsung recently sold off its Samsung Galaxy Flip Z, receiving warm response both in South Korea and international market.
