Binance expands and firms its dominance in the crypto market. As one of the largest blockchain company that handles digital asset exchange, Binance reportedly has completed the acquisition of Swipe. Right after that, the company announced its partnership with Etana custody.
Swipe and Binance: “to make the crypto experience much better for everyone”
Yesterday, Binance announced their complete acquisition of Swipe, a multi-asset digital wallet and Visa debit card platform company. Both companies aim for more adoption of cryptocurrencies in different markets through their partnership.
Currently, Swipe enables its users to convert selected digital assets to fiat currencies through Visa payment rails. This allows cryptocurrencies to be instantly spendable. Swipe’s CEO, Joselito Lizarondo, reveals further that Swipe is planning to “further synchronize crypto with flat-currency –based transactions”. Hence, the alliance with Binance will ease Swipe in accessing cryptocurrencies to millions of users worldwide.
Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao is confident in Swipe’s significance in bridging the gap between commerce and crypto. In addition to this, he expresses his hope “to make the crypto experience much better for everyone” with the alliance of both companies.
Affiliating with Etana Custody, Binance expands into 15 new national currencies
Official release from Binance reveals that Binance and Etana Custody Ltd has tied partnerships. Etana Custody Ltd is a third-party custodian and settlement provider of both fiat and digital assets. Their clients include institutional clients and accredited investors all around the world. The alliance between both companies is bound to bring more secure and seamless fiat on-ramps among the European, Asian, North American, and Oceanian markets.
Binance and Etana Custody Ltd’s affiliation allows their users to make deposits in 15 different national currencies. The 15 funding options include the United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED), Australian Dollar (AUD), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Swiss Franc (CHF), Czech Koruna (CZK), Euro (EUR), British Pound (GBP), Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), Danish krone (DKK), Hungarian Forint (HUF), Mexican Peso (MXN), Norwegian krone (NOK), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), Polish zloty (PLN), and Swedish krona (SEK).
In addition, Etana assures its users’ safety is secured. In compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, Etana provides Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) standards.
