Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is a must for Moslem people to fast during Ramadan. Furthermore, there will be more expenses that we need, especially if it is approaching in Eid. The boarding house people usually get confused about how to manage their finance in Ramadan.

At first, they think that their needs will decrease during this blessing month since they only eat twice a day. On the other hand, their expenses may increase due to any variety of price increases.

Here are three tips to manage your expenses during Ramadan, especially for boarding house people.

Cooking meals by yourself

Cooking or sahur will cause a sense of laziness, especially for boarding house people. You will be lazy to prepare your own meals. Thus, buying ready to eat food is an alternative choice.

At first, buying ready to eat food is not a problem, but if it continues in the whole month, your expenses will be swollen. To overcome the issue, it is better for you to cook your own meals by yourself. You can join with your friend to buy the ingredients and cook together.
Furthermore, it will be cheaper, the portion of food will be even greater and cleanliness will be guaranteed.

The moment of breaking the fast is a special moment during the month of Ramadan. This is of course because the time to break the fast is the anticipated time for Muslims who fast to eat food. As well as tips when eating sahur, when breaking the fast the actual expenses can be easily suppressed.

This time it is not self-cooking snacks, but by hunting takjil. This can be done by approaching the time of breaking the fast in the nearest mosques, or in the city centers such as the town square and city parks.

Don’t always come to fast-breaking events

Ramadan is certainly very synonymous with moments of togetherness. For example, having fast-breaking events with old friends. As a boarding house person who does not have enough money will dilemma. You want to meet your old friend but your money is not that big to join the event. Thus, you can overcome the issue by not always attending fast-breaking events. You have to picky to join the event to save your expenses.

According to azislam.com, sometimes many prices become expensive when fasting and there is no price reduction. Thus, if it is not urgent, it will be better if you cook your own meals rather than joining fast-breaking events.
