E-wallet is a type of electronic card which is used for transactions made online through a smartphone. Its utility is same as a credit or debit card. Besides, most of e-wallets provide lots of feature that make transaction easier, including Indonesian e-wallet, LinkAja.
According to investopedia.com, by using a digital wallet, users can complete purchases easily and quickly with near-field communications technology. They can also create stronger passwords without worrying about whether they will be able to remember them later.
What is LinkAja?
LinkAja, an Indonesia electronic wallet platform, plans to develop its financial services. One of them is providing special investment services.
Thus, the users will not only be able to use electronic money services, but also investments through applications.
Investment Features
Danu Wicaksana, CEO of LinkAja said, “We will develop financial product products in the future more deeply.”
“If you look at other platforms there is also an investment. We will go there too,” he continued.
However, LinkAja has not ascertain what investment product services will be presented. It hasn’t certain yet whether it is gold savings or mutual funds as presented by the e-commerce platform.
However, it has a greater potential to develop investment services because this platform is supported by BUMN banks.
Supporting several financial services BUMNs can bring up various investment products, not only mutual funds but also other investments.
At present, LinkAja already has financial services, namely cheap insurance and loans to its customers by cooperating with companies that already have permission from the Financial Services Authority.
