PlayStation fans now have the ability to pre-order the PlayStation 5 (PS5) next-generation console from Sony. But, it is only for those who live in the U.S.
Sony opened its online registration for PlayStation users with U.S. addressee. Therefore, they could be the first to get the console.
“There will be a limited quantity of PS5 consoles available for pre-order, so we will be inviting some of our existing consumers to be one of the first to pre-order one from PlayStation,” the company said in its official website.
Registering, however, does not guarantee gamers to get their hands on the PS5 right away. Only a limited number of registrants will be receiving an invitation to actually pre-order the said console.
There Will be Selecting Invitation Recipients
Sony will be selecting invitation recipients “based on previous interests and PlayStation activities,” according to its website. The fortunate participants will receive an email from Sony.
But for those who will be invited are still not sure to automatically secure a PS5 deal as the invitation will only be up for a short time. Also, there will be a limitation for a transaction per PlayStation Network (PSN) ID.
A pre-order PS5 is only by using a PSN ID. Those invited will have the opportunity to pre-order certain products.
The products are 1 PS5 Console or 1 PS5 Digital Version, 2 Wireless DualSense Controllers, 2 DualSense Charging Ports, 2 Wireless 3D Pulse Headsets, 2 Media Remotes, and 2 HD Cameras.
Sony also noted that while pre-ordering the console is restricted to only a select few, certain PS5 items would be available to the general public for pre-order.
Those who sign up to obtain an invitation but must have a non-U.S. The address dependent will have their orders canceled.
Despite opening the registration, Sony is yet to reveal the price. And also, the exact release date of the console. For your information, the teaser will release on “Holiday 2020.”
