Americans are currently awaiting the results of Presidential Election 2020 calculation, whether Donald Trump-Mike Pence or Joe Biden-Kamala Harris to the US presidency and vice president.
In US elections, there is no definite time when the election results will be announced. Each state has its own terms and time frame for counting ballots.
Voting in all states closes on Wednesday evening US time (3/11). The calculation results are predicted to be completed in the next few days for several states.
But there are also a number of states that have finished calculating the election, such as New York, North Dakota, Connecticut, Wyoming and many more.
So far, Biden-Harris is still superior to 131 electoral votes compared to Trump-Pence with 108 electoral votes based on The Guardian’s tally, on Wednesday (4/11).
How if the 270 electoral votes are gathered
It cannot be predicted when one candidate will win 270 electoral votes. But when that amount is pocketed, it is almost certain that one candidate will win the battle.
Trump and Biden are ready to deliver a statement of victory tonight. Biden will be in his hometown, Wilmington, Delaware. Meanwhile, Trump is at the White House.
Trump himself insists he will oppose the election results after election day. He threatened to make a vote count outside election day to court.
In general, though, states only officially announce vote count results in weeks after election day.
The candidate that are declared as the winner on election day are generally based solely on unofficial parisal analysis.
