The carts feature is in the contact bot WhatsApp Business, when it types, “Hi! I need some new clothes. What do you have?”
Then the bot will direct the cart feature to WhatsApp Business, then you can see a row of clothes and pants that are sold there.
Previously launched the catalog feature
Previously, WhatsApp Business launched the catalog feature on November 8, 2019. It allows businesses to sort their various types of products in order.
This feature is here to make it easier for consumers to find the product they want to buy.
This is because before the catalog feature was launched, businesses had to send product images one by one to their WhatsApp Business account.
Furthermore, the Facebook-owned instant messaging application said businesses can also add their product information, Such as price, description and product code.
At the beginning of its launch, the catalog feature in the WhatsApp Business application was only available in several countries, such as Brazil, Germany, India, Indonesia, UK and America.
However, WhatsApp said that it would soon release a world wide catalog feature (worldwide).
Previously, the catalog feature for WhatsApp Business was introduced by Facebook founder. And also CEO Mark Zuckerberg during the F8 conference last April in San Jose, California, USA
