British Health Minister Matt Hancock said the new covid variant identified in South Africa (South Africa) was reportedly more problematic than the strain found in Britain. He said the variants found in South Africa were very concerning.
“I am very worried about the South African variant, and that is why we are taking the measures we are taking to limit all flights from South Africa,” he said on Monday (4/1/2021), citing CNBC International.
