Quoting from Forbes ‘real-time billionaire list, Amazon Boss Jeff Bezos’ wealth was recorded at $190.3 billion, down $466 million from the last record of wealth.
Meanwhile, right in the second position is Elon Musk with a total net worth of $173.4 billion.
Then, in the next position there is the Bernard Arnault & family, a French family that holds the Louis Vuitton trademark. They have a net worth of $157.9 billion or an increase of $3 billion from the latest record.
Then, in fourth place is Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, with a fortune of $123.9 billion, down $384 million from the previous.
While the fifth position is held by the boss of the Facebook Group with a record of $100.2 billion, an increase of $1.2 billion.
Early January Elon Musk Had Become The World’s Richest Person
Previously, in early January Elon Musk had shifted Besoz’s position as the richest person in the world. On Friday (8/1), his total wealth is estimated at $185 billion.
Musk is the majority shareholder of Tesla. His wealth doubled after the value of Tesla’s stock rose in 2020.
In addition to Tesla, Musk also runs the space mission company SpaceX.
Tesla’s electric car is now a new threat to a number of the world’s automotive giants who are still struggling with relying on oil-fueled engine production.
Tesla’s development throughout 2020 was also rapid, even though it was in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic.
They boosted production by opening new factories. This made their profits from stock trading rise by up to 700 percent.
