United States President Joe Biden is canceling the policies of his predecessor President Donald Trump again. This is about Biden cancels the prohibition of foreign worker entering US territory.
This regulation to expire on Wednesday (31/3/2021). Quoting Reuters, it is reported that the policy will be lifted regarding skilled foreign workers on H-1B visas.
Thus, this step will allow US employers to temporarily employ foreign employees in specialized jobs.
Previously, Trump’s policy was banning foreign workers. It’s be quite burdensome for some parties.
Many Rejoice Over Biden’s Decision
Besides, Major US business associations, including the National Manufacturers Association and the US Chamber of Commerce, sued in July to try to overturn Trump’s temporary worker ban.
Not only that, a federal judge based in California in October blocked the policy for a moment because many businesses with membership in the association opposed the plan.
“Caused irreparable harm,” the judge said at the time. It’s also referring to a US business that had its operations disrupted.
Biden is also like to have canceled Trump’s policies on immigration, besides about foreign worker matter. One of Trump’s controversial policies that Biden lifted was the ban on visits for some citizens who came from Muslim countries.
