Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to finally return to Manchester United (MU) rocked the world of football. The 36-year-old star has agreed to join Manchester United.
Quoting from Forbes, Saturday (28/8/2021) the funds were used to facilitate the release of his new striker.
The terms of Ronaldo’s new contract have not been officially disclosed. Yet some sources know some details regarding the contract are still being finalized. While waiting for a physical examination, Ronaldo will sign a contract for the next two seasons.
Ronaldo is one of the most financially successful athletes in history. In 2020, his annual earnings of US$105 million made him the first footballer to earn US$1 billion (not including taxes), according to Forbes estimates.
Months later, Messi followed suit and the two rivals remain the only sporting players to reach the milestone as a footballer with the most money for the club in history.
As is known, Cristiano Ronaldo officially returned to Manchester United. The ‘Red Devils’ have announced that they have agreed the transfer of the Portuguese star with Juventus.
“Manchester United is delighted to confirm that it has reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to personal agreements, visas and medical tests,” Manchester United said in a statement on Friday (27/8) afternoon.
