Former President of Indonesia BJ Habibie has just recently died at the age of 83. Habibie died at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital (RSPAD) in Central Jakarta.
Habibie was the third president of Indonesia, succeeding Soeharto. Besides his contribution as a president, he also contributed in a myriad of things such as founding the very first aviation company in Indonesia, recovering the country’s economy after the crisis, and so forth.
Recently, he founded a new aviation company named Regio Aviasi Industri and planned to mass-produce a plane named R80. On March, various customers have ordered the product and the number reached 155 units.
