US President Donald Trump recently creates chaos as he claims the last presidential election as “fraudulent”. On Wednesday (1/6), Trump encourages his supporters to march to the Capitol. Trump promised to march along them, to the Congress meeting scheduled to talk about the 25th Amendment that will end his presidency.
The inevitable chaos happened without Trump who retreated to the White House before the scheduled march. Trump’s supporters broke in the Capitol. They stole from the rooms and took pictures insides. One woman dead in the riot.
On this, Trump released a video he recorded in White House’s rose garden. In the video, Trump asked his supporters to “go home”.
Trump and the chaos he created
However, instead of making his supporters actually go home, the video only added fuel into the fire. In the video, Trump claimed that the election was ‘stolen’ from him and his supporters. He wrongly accused the election as “fraudulent”, again lying to his supporters.
More over, the president seems to be encouraging their violence. “We love you,” Trump said to his supporters. Adding, “You’re very special.”
Following his actions, Twitter and Facebook removed the video from Trump’s official accounts. The two platforms stated that Trump’s video violated their terms and condition as it encourages violence. Further, Twitter suspended Trump’s account. If he’s willingly delete three of his tweets, Twitter will only suspend the account for twelve hours. However, if he refuse to delete them, Twitter said they might suspend the account further permanently.
Trump’s aids are also resigning one by one leaving only days of they duty. Disgusted by his actions yesterday, they claimed they feel embarrassed that worked for him the past years. Starting with the first lady’s chief of staff Stephanie Grisham, said she was departing.
The congress will reportedly continue to make the 25th Amendment. And Trump, more than ever, will be isolated for the rest few days of his presidency.
