As the trade war negotiations are currently in progress, the results might simply worsen the current situation. Although the announcement of the official, perhaps temporary, deals is yet to be published, many have argued that this would be nothing better.
Furthermore, analysts opined that both countries have conducted actions that are inappropriate prior to such negotiations. Accordingly, the US has blacklisted 28 Chinese firms and organizations while China wants to tighten VISA restrictions.
Despite the parlous progress, China still wants to strike a deal. Under circumstances such as no more trivial tariffs, China has a lofty interest in a partial trade deal.
China’s suggestions, in addition, are promoting optimism in the current chaos of trade war development. In its viewpoint, markets would be more pleasant to accept ‘limited’ trade deals rather than nothing of paramount. However, it is worth noting that such optimism can lead to disappointment as what happened in the past.
Meanwhile, Washington is being more rigid. Prior to the D-day of the trade war negotiations, US President Donald Trump stated that the US would not accept a 50-50 deal.
“They want to make a deal. The question is do I want to make a deal?” said President Trump at the White House.

Prior to the 13th Trade War Talks
Prior to the main negotiations on October 10, there were already negotiations pertaining to the concern. According to the foregoing, the negotiations were on deputy-levels.
The chief objective of the talks was to establish a strong foundation for the upcoming main negotiations which happen today. During the two-day talk on Monday and Tuesday, the results were considerably of minor essence.
Out of the existent failures, the discourse did not canvass the most important subject. Instead, trivial matters that did not directly contribute to the establishment of the problem became the topic of the discussion.
While the US was deeply concerned with issues pertinent to technology, China refused to discuss the motions. Chinese delegates preferred to tackle the issue of agricultural purchases and intellectual property protection. Looking at the crux, the issues were important but slight.
Meanwhile, the US still firmly believes that China has violated human rights. Due to the reason, the US blacklisted 28 Chinese firms and, also, alleged that China is persecuting Muslims in its western region, Xinjiang.
