Despite being at the edge of Trump impeachment, many analysts predict that this will not happen. Reportedly, the House of Representatives mostly consists of Democrats, the opposition of Trump administration. Meanwhile, the majority of the Senate, which will decide the fate of the president, is Republicans, Trump’s party.
In contrast to what his predecessors did, Trump does not show remorse. Instead, he rants on Twitter, insinuating that this is a political maneuver against him.
“SUCH ATROCIOUS LIES BY THE RADICAL LEFT, DO NOTHING DEMOCRATS. THIS IS AN ASSAULT ON AMERICA, AND AN ASSAULT ON THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!!!!” he wrote.

Regarding the impeachment, the abuse of power is pertaining to Trump’s attempt to investigate his 2020 political rival, Joe Biden. Being afraid that his rival might get more votes, he demanded Ukraine to do his ‘dirty work’ by promising to give Ukraine USD 400 million as a reward.
“Over the course of the last three months, we have found incontrovertible evidence that President Trump abused his power by pressuring the newly elected president of Ukraine to announce an investigation into President Trump’s political rival,” said Representative Adam B. Schiff, Democrat of California and the Intelligence Committee chairman, who led the impeachment inquiry.
Meanwhile, for the second article, the House thinks that the president shows a refusal to cooperate with the investigation. His behavior, furthermore, results in his own demise.
