As Korean dramas lovers, you will definitely watch a drama titled Start Up. Yes, the drama, starring Bae Suzy, Nam Joo-hyuk, Kim Seon-ho and Kang Han-na, presents a drama (Start Up)  as well as education about business, stocks, investments and lessons about other start-up companies.

Well, in this article we will discuss terms in the Start Up Drama related to the world of business, stocks and investments.

  1. Return of Investment (ROI)

ROI is the ratio of money gained or lost on an investment to the amount of money invested.

The amount of money earned or lost is commonly referred to as interest or profit / loss.

  1. Angel Investors

This is a term for those who kindly invest or provide financing for startup companies who are just starting out in exchange for share ownership. These Angel Investors will supervise the companies they finance, but give full confidence to the company owners.

  1. Incubator

Incubator is a collaboration program for several startup companies or startups. Usually done at the Workshop Center, in this drama is SandBox.

This Workshop Center seeks to help start-ups by providing work space, mentoring, training and start-up capital.

  1. Seed Funding

It is the initial stage of funding in a startup company.

      5. Series A

This is funding after seed funding. At this stage, the startup company already has a mature product, small clients and income, but it has to innovate again so that it continues to grow.
