Work from home is a lifestyle. Due to the coronavirus, many people are working at home.
Some people say that work from home can take less than an hour each day or be a full-time job. It only depends on how much work you want to bring forward.
Here are 4 tips about how to make money to suit your wants, skills and timetable from home.
1. Sell Your Things
Don’t wait for any cleaning to take place in spring-sell some things online. When you don’t mind packing, use Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace for local deals, or websites like Amazon, Shopee, or Carousell.
2. Monetize Your Website
If you’ve got a blog or website, let it make some money. Programs such as Google AdSense require marketers to compete for space in your ads. It’s safe and does not contribute to the workload.
Ads appear on your blog and when people click on them you make money. You can also place a PayPal button on your blog so readers can either donate to you or pay for any items you sell.
3. Freelance
When you have an on-demand talent, such as blogging, web design, accounting, or even data analysis, you will be paid to freelance your services. You can set your labor price, and pick your clients.
To get started, “go back to former employers and inquire if they have any freelance jobs,” says Katherine Hutt, the Better Business Burea’s national spokeswoman and former freelancer.
If you have no experience in developing your portfolio yet, Hutt recommends doing some voluntary work for a charity.
4. Start Your Own Small Business
On the jewelry you make, you get compliments all the time and your family liked the scarves you created last Christmas. In making the passion into a small business, let strangers enjoy what you do, too. Build your wares website, or use a marketplace like Etsy to sell your creations.
