1. Don’t Get Panicked
Most of the people get panicked when they are sitting in front of the interviewers. Then, usually they rambling. If you find yourself doing that, tap the breaks.
Every time you get panicked try to take a deep breath. If one deep breath doesn’t work try three deep breaths. At the same time, try to drive the conversation away from you. In other words, try to pivot it to your interviewer.
You can ask a general question. For instance, ask the biggest challenge people have in a particular position you are looking for. Besides, you can also try to ask about the working culture of the company.
After you listen to the answer, you can prepare statements. The statements should help you promotes yourself as a worker. For example, tell the interviewer your skillset, your working habits or the contributions you can offer.
However, try to make the statements simple. If you feel like you are talking in a circle, then return.

A follow up can help the interviewer to know you better. A follow up is similar to a portfolio of your previous work.
