Currently, cybersecurity company, Kaspersky is preparing an anti-hack or attacking cellphone. The cellphone will later use the operating system from Kaspersky.
It is planned that a smartphone with Kaspersky OS will be released next year. The product will be made by a Chinese company manufacturer, but the name has not been disclosed to the public.
Cellphones that cannot be hacked
The cellphone has a focus on being a safe product and cannot be hacked. The smartphone will accept only minimal functionality such as calling and sending messages.
It also seems that users do not need to expect much because the cellphone will only be planted with a series of standard applications. In addition, there will also be a browser but not made by a third party but from Kaspersky itself.
“But this smartphone will not perform any other special tasks. The device can call and send SMS, of course, there will be an office suite, a custom browser with minimal functionality and standard applications such as alarm clocks, calculators and others,” said Kaspersky Lab Head, Eugene Kaspersky. , quoted by Gizchina, Tuesday (8/12/2020).
Likely to present a self-made application store
In Kaspersky OS there are no plans to launch an application store. But cybersecurity firms do not exclude showing future apps stores.
Eugene said that most likely the cellphone will present its own application store. “And we will be ready to attract other application stores,” he said.
