The Corona pandemic may be vanished by the end of 2021
Gates has given a good news that he predicted that the corona could end and life will return to normal at the end of 2021. This prediction is true if the Covid-19 vaccine is effective.
However, the note is that the forecast only applies to developed countries. “We still don’t know whether this vaccine will work. It will also take time to increase capacity (vaccine production). So allocations in the US and between the US and other countries will be a top point of debate,” Gates said.

Conditions Could Get Worse
However, it seems that until Covid-19 actually ends, the world still has to face worsening conditions. In December, Gates said that the next 4 to 6 months could be the worst conditions for a pandemic.
“IHME (Institute for Health Matrics and Evaluations) predicts there will be an additional 200 thousand deaths (Covid-19),” he said.
According to him, the death rate could be reduced if the community complied with health protocols. For example, by using a mask and avoiding crowds or not often making contact with people.
Gates also quipped the handling of the pandemic in the United States. According to him, the country could better control Covid-19.
“We are not at the worst yet. But what is most surprising of all is that the economic impact on the United States and the world is greater than the forecast I had made five years ago,” Gates said.

Minimal Vaccines in 2021
Gates also predicts the possibility of a limited supply of vaccines this year. However, according to him, if other vaccines are successful, it will help the process and distribution, especially for developing countries.
In addition, the world currently has several brands of vaccines and is starting to be distributed. Gates said the vaccine would prove effective.
“With the good news from Pfizer and Moderna, we think it is now possible that Astrazeneca, Novavax and Johnson & Johnson will also show strong capabilities,” said Gates.
