Donald Trump plans to return to cyberspace in the coming months, by launching his own social media platform.
This information was revealed directly by the former adviser and spokesman for Donald Trump’s campaign, Jason Miller. He said Trump would return to social media in the next two or three months.
Miller explained that Trump’s platform would attract dozens of new users and would completely change the social media scene. However, he did not say what kind of social media will be released.
“This is something I think will be the hottest ticket on social media,” said Miller (22/3).
“This will completely redefine the order. Everyone will wait and see what President Trump will do, but it will be his own platform,” he added as quoted by CNET.
Miller further said that several companies have been approaching Trump and was in discussions with the team about his new platform.
“This new platform will be great. Everyone wants him (Trump) and he will bring millions of users to this platform,” Miller said.
Popular Social Media Has Blocked Donald Trump’s Account
Some of the most popular social media platforms kicked out Donald Trump. For example Twitter and Facebook in January.
Both platforms blocked Trump’s posts on their respective websites when chaotic Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol on January 6, to stop the process of endorsing the then-elected presidential candidate, Joe Biden.
For four years Donald Trump used the social media Twitter when he was president of the US. The tweet from his personal account is mostly provocative and redefined politics using Twitter.
Twitter often marks Trump’s posts as content that violates his rules, such as behaving rudely and echoing violence.
Last month Twitter’s Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal did not allow Trump to return to his platform, even if he re-nominated himself as a presidential candidate.
“Our policies are designed to ensure that people don’t incite violence, and if anyone does that we have to block them from service and our policy doesn’t allow people to come back,” said Segal.
