Spider-Man: No Way Home has surpassed $1.5 billion in global revenue. In the U.S., it topped the weekend box office for four consecutive weeks.
According to Box Office Mojo, a U.S. box office aggregation site, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” has global sales of $1.536.5 billion as of the 9th. The film is known to cost about $200 million.
The movie earned $66875 in the United States and $867.5 million outside the United States. “Spider-Man: No Way ome” is the only film in the world that recorded $1 billion in sales in all films released after the COVID-19 crisis.
The movie has been at the top of the U.S. box office for the fourth consecutive week, attracting $33 million from 4,012 U.S. theaters on the 7th to 9th.
The Marvel movie is the third film in the Marvel Spidey series, which leads to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019). This work depicts the story of Spider-Man and Dr. Strange’s mistake opening the door of a multi-verse and the appearance of villains existing in the world at different levels.
The film is drawing attention in that villains from the 2000s “Spider-Man” series directed by Sam Raymy and starring actor Toby Maguire, and the 2010s “Amazing Spider-Man” series created by Mark Webb and starring Andrew Garfield will appear.
