In living life, you certainly have priorities and goals to be achieved. Apparently, quite a lot of people who think that looking for money is the main goal in their life. Additionally, it happens to Singapore employees.
Reporting from businessinsider.com, a survey conducted by networking and mentoring applications from Singapore, Tigerhall, found that 94 percent of employees are looking for money as one of the important priorities in life. The subjects of the survey were 1,000 respondents to the Singapore employees. In their official statement, Tigerhall stated that the findings described a significant shift in the thinking and life goals of Singaporeans.
Earning money is the main life priority
On the other hand, earning money or having income becomes the main priority in life. Then, followed by having a good career with a percentage reaching 85 percent of respondents who prioritize it.
Survey result
Respondents who are in the early stages of a career encourage this trend. Nearly 9 out of 10 respondents aged 29 and under said that having a good career was important to them. Approximately, 74 percent of respondents place the importance of developing cultural skills through the opportunity to travel to other countries as a life destination. According to Tigerhall, millennial generation is driving this trend.
Meanwhile, having credibility in social life and work environment is also a priority in life. As many as 67 percent of respondents gave this answer. This trend is particularly driven by respondents who are in the middle stages of their careers. As many as 7 out of 10 respondents aged between 30 and 44 years place the importance of regulating the beliefs and beliefs of those around them. In addition, 54 percent of respondents stated the importance of enjoying the convenience of goods and services as a priority for life. According to Tigerhall, this trend reflects the current digital era.
