Digi-Prex is a seven months old Indian startup. It runs an eponymous online subscription pharmacy in Hyderabad and serves patients with chronic diseases.
Patients share their prescription with Digi-Prex through WhatsApp. Later, the startup’s workers deliver the medication to them on a recurring cycle.
Other than medication delivery service, Digi-Prex also provides other services. It helps patients better track when they need a new supply of medicine, and checks if they are seeing improvements.
Up to today, the startup has gained thousands of customers in Hyderabad, according to Samarth Sindhi, founder of Digi-Prex. Many Indian people feel that the services provided by the startups significantly help them.

Last week, the startup has also closed its seed round. Digi-Prex’s seed round is one of the largest seed financing rounds for Indian startups.
It has raised $5.5 million. Digi-Prex’s biggest investors are Khosla Ventures, Vendata Capital, Y Combinator, Quiet Capital, and SV Angel.
Digi-Prex works directly with medicine distributors to secure supplies at lower costs. It then undercuts the pricing of the over-the-top counter. Therefore, it provides medicines to its customers at discounted rates.
Besides, Sindhi also said that the startup will use the fresh capital to expand its business to 10 cities in India. Moreover, the startup also aims to find ways to be more useful to patients.
Some of the things that Digi-Prex is working on include providing patients with access to better physicians and offering them more information about their disease.
